Iqra Camp is a residential compound built upon the ethos of Iqra’s philosophy of lifting people up and enabling them to become self-sufficient and beneficial contributors to their society.
After almost 14 years of struggle and isolation now is the time to stand with the people of Syria.

Rebuilding life after enduring imprisonment, oppression and displacement presents immense challenges. Many individuals, after their release or after living in harsh conditions whilst being displaced, grapple with the absence of essential resources, stable housing, and the physical and emotional care they desperately need. Our mission is to stand by them, offering support as they heal and rebuild their lives.
Nourishment and Hydration: Delivering immediate access to wholesome meals and clean drinking water.
Basic Necessities: Supplying clothing, hygiene kits, and daily essentials to restore dignity.
Safe Shelter: Offering temporary housing and construction of permanent homes.
Reuniting Families: Supporting emotional and logistical needs to reconnect individuals with their loved ones.
Health and Trauma Recovery: Providing medical care and therapeutic services to address the wounds of the past.
After years of suffering, Bilad As Shaam needs us to help restore what was lost, uplift its resilient people and rescue those still in danger.
Together, we can build a system of care providing both life-saving aid and long-term solutions to restore dignity and empower communities from within.

The Education Village embodies four of the major principles of our organisation’s ethos. Education, development, activation and self-dependency.
Abna Ashaam School opened its doors in 2012, in the village of Atmeh, a project that is summarised by our motto: “Building a New Generation through Education”
